Since its establishment in 1999, the Youth Forum constitutes an important programme of UNESCO for youth, offering to young women and men the chance to come together and discuss about topics that concern them. The Youth Forum makes suggestions, that are later discussed and voted during the General Conference, on the fields of action of UNESCO.
The Youth Forum meets every two years at the Headquarters of the Organisation in Paris. The energy, creativity and vision of young people contribute to the enhancement of the vision of UNESCO, since the young members of the assembly make suggestions on aspects reflecting their point of view and their needs.
