«Άυλη Πολιτιστική Κληρονομιά της Κύπρου....μια φωτογραφική περιδιάβαση στην Κύπρο του σήμερα»

Μία πολύ ιδιαίτερη και ενδιαφέρουσα έκδοση με θέμα την άυλη πολιτιστική κληρονομιά της Κύπρου, παρουσιάζει η Κυπριακή Εθνική Επιτροπή UNESCO, με τη στήριξη του Υφυπουργείου Τουρισμού και της Έδρας UNESCO του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας.
Η έκδοση «Άυλη Πολιτιστική Κληρονομιά της Κύπρου – Εθνικός Κατάλογος Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς» αφορά στην πλειάδα παραδόσεων και εθίμων που διατηρούνται ζωντανά σήμερα, μεταδίδονται από γενιά σε γενιά, και συνδέονται άμεσα με τον κύκλο ζωής και τις δραστηριότητες των Κυπρίων.
Πρόκειται για την πιο πρόσφατη επιτόπια φωτογραφική καταγραφή ανθρώπων, χώρων, παραδόσεων, πρακτικών, τεχνικών, εργαλείων και αντικειμένων, που συνδέονται με τα τριάντα πρώτα στοιχεία που συμπεριλήφθηκαν στον «Εθνικό Κατάλογο Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς» (2009 – 2017) και στον διεθνή «Αντιπροσωπευτικό Κατάλογο για τη Διαφύλαξη της Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς της UNESCO» (2009 – 2019).

«Intangible Cultural Heritage of Cyprus....Contemporary practices and expressions through photographs»
A very special and interesting publication on the intangible cultural heritage of Cyprus is presented by the Cyprus National Commission UNESCO, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the UNESCO Chair of the University of Nicosia.
Entitled “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Cyprus – National Inventory”, the publication presents the wealth of traditions and customs that have been preserved across generations and are linked to the lives and activities of Cypriots.
This is the most recent on-site photographic documentation of people, places, traditions, practices, techniques, tools and objects, related to the first thirty elements inscribed on the “National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage” (between 2009-2017) and on the UNESCO’s “Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” (between 2009 - 2019).
