The 46th Symposium of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) in Cyprus will take place in Limassol on 4 and 5 April 2024, on the topic: «Peaceful Coexistence...Peaceful Life». It is coorganised by the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO, the National Coordinator for ASPnet Cyprus and the schools Laniteio Lykeio, Lykeio Agiou Antoniou and Lykeio Apostolon Petrou kai Pavlou.

The Symposium is held as part of the ASPnet Network's annual action plan for 2024 that aims to understand the challenges associated with peaceful coexistence in everyday life and to develop positive attitudes, skills and behaviors to cultivate a culture of peace within communities. In addition, the program strives to empower young people to become active agents of change by engaging them in activities that promote peace building and social cohesion.

The two-day program of the Symposium includes student presentations, panel discussion with representatives of government agencies and non-governmental organizations as well as experiential workshops aimed at educating and raising awareness about promoting intercultural understanding, respect for diversity, conflict resolution, tolerance and cultivating empathy.
